Lost in the Woods

In the field of play, we compete,
To dominate and take the lead,
We vie with all our might and skill,
To reach our goals, and show our thrill.

An advocate for fair play,
Is someone who shows us the way,
They help us keep our possession,
And show us how to make progression.

As spectators, we watch with glee,
As the players show their mastery,
Specialized skills, offensive line,
We watch them execute their design.

A good strategy is the key,
To win the game, and earn victory,
But even the ultimate prize,
Is won with amateur tries.

So let us play, and do our best,
And leave the rest to fate and test,
For in the end, what matters most,
Is that we played with heart and host.
