Battle for Liberation: The Triumph of the Allies

Once upon a time, in a land far away,
A battle raged on, day after day.
The Axis powers had come to invade,
Infantry soldiers marched, unafraid.

The area was a mess, in a terrible condition,
But the Allies knew they must take a position.
They fought hard to capture a foothold,
And disable the enemy, brave and bold.

The casualties were high, the cost was great,
But the goal was clear, to liberate.
To free the people, to bring back peace,
The Allies fought on, they did not cease.

Their determination consisted of much more,
Than just a desire to win the war.
It was for the future, for the children to come,
For a world that was safe and not overrun.

And after much struggle, the battle was won,
The Axis powers had been undone.
The Allies had triumphed, the people were free,
And the world was a better place to be.
