The Loyal Knight and the Jealous Foe

In a land of knights and kings,
Where jousting tournaments are a thing,
A loyal knight with shining gear,
Rode forth to face his opponent, without fear.

His sword gleamed in the morning light,
As he prepared for the duel in sight,
But jealousy lurked within his foe,
Who hoped to swindle the victory and go.

The crowd watched with bated breath,
As the knights charged towards each other, a test,
Their judgment of skill, strength and grace,
Determined the winner of this jousting race.

The loyal knight emerged triumphant,
With honor, and victory abundant,
While his opponent, filled with regret,
Realized the price of his jealousy, he couldn't forget.

For in this land of knights and kings,
Loyalty and honor were everything,
And those who chose to deceive and cheat,
Would find themselves facing defeat.

So remember, young ones, as you grow,
That in life, you reap what you sow,
Stay true, and fight with honor and might,
And you'll emerge victorious, in every fight.
