The Camouflaged Chameleon's Apology

In the jungle where the wild things roam,
There's a creature with a special home,
A chameleon with a skill so grand,
It can camouflage on any land.

It blends right in with leaf and bark,
So well that you can't tell it apart,
But don't be fooled by its disguise,
It's still the same under its guise.

But one day, the chameleon found,
A radioactive spot on the ground,
It changed its color in a snap,
And feedback came with quite a rap.

The other animals didn't like the sight,
They were afraid of the radioactive light,
They thought the chameleon was dangerous and bad,
And that made it really sad.

It didn't mean to disappoint,
It just wanted to experiment and point,
Out the power of its camouflage,
But the others were in a rage.

The chameleon felt so alone,
It wished it had a happy home,
But with the others in divorce,
It knew it had to make remorse.

So it apologized to the crowd,
And promised to not be so loud,
It promised to be more discreet,
And blend in with the jungle's beat.

The other animals forgave and forgot,
And the chameleon learned a lot,
That even when you're really cool,
Sometimes you need to follow the rules.
