Pumice's Fiery Lesson: Learning to Manage Emotions

In the land of make-believe,
Where the clouds are pink and green,
Lived a little pumice stone,
Who was obnoxious, and sometimes prone
To spew some fiery lava
And cause quite a stir and drama.

But the other stones would chide,
"You can't just spew and hide,
You need to find a way
To calm your temper and not sway."

So they took him to therapy,
To help him see more clearly,
And find a way to vent his ire
Without causing a surge of fire.

It was ironic, they all thought,
That a stone could be taught
To manage its emotions well
And avoid causing a fiery spell.

But with time and practice,
The pumice learned to harness
His emotions and let them pass
Like a surge cloud in the grass.

Now he lives happily,
In the land of make-believe,
With his friends, the other stones,
And he no longer feels alone.
