The Young Explorers: Trekking Across the World

There once was a group of young kids,
Whose adventures were just beginning to skid,
They had a resolve to explore and see,
The wonders of the world, all wild and free.

Their first project was a great big map,
To plot out their journey, and avoid any mishap,
They marked each treaty and boundary line,
So they'd know which countries they would find.

Their series of treks took them far and wide,
Through mountains and forests and oceans beside,
They crossed an isthmus, a narrow bridge,
And felt the winds of a desert's ridge.

And when they were tired, and their feet felt sore,
They stopped for a treat, with goodies galore,
They ate candy and fruit and ice cream too,
And felt energized, ready for what's new.

So if you're a kid with an adventurous heart,
And dream of exploring the world from the start,
Just remember these lessons, and don't forget,
To plan and prepare, and take that first trek.
