Read together

In the rink, with sticks in hand,
The playoffs have begun, so grand!
The goalie stands tall, ready to play,
Protecting the net, come what may.

The puck drops, the game is on,
Each team competes, from dusk till dawn.
They skate and shoot, trying to score,
Hoping to advance, and win even more.

The quarterfinals come and go,
Each team vying for the win, you know.
The conference finals draw near,
And the tension in the air is clear.

For those who win, a dynasty begins,
Setting a record for others to spin.
For those who lose, it's not the end,
Just an instance in time, to make amends.

So when you play, give it your all,
And don't be afraid to take a fall.
For in the game of hockey, win or lose,
It's the love of the game that you'll never refuse.

Talk about it
