Read together

Listen up, little ones, and gather 'round,
For a poem that's sure to astound,
It's all about things that affect us all,
From poverty to benefits, big and small.

Now, first off, let's talk about a campaign,
It's a big push to get something done,
Like helping folks who need a hand,
So they can thrive and have some fun.

And speaking of folks who need some aid,
There's something called a census we must take,
To count up all the people who reside,
So the federal government can provide.

What do they provide, you might ask?
Benefits for those who need some cash,
Or maybe food to fill their plate,
From a food bank, it's never too late.

So remember, my dear little friends,
When it comes to helping, we all can lend,
A helping hand to those in need,
To make their lives better indeed.

Talk about it
