On the savanna, wide and grand,
Lives a world so full and grand.
Nomadic creatures roam and play,
With the equator not so far away.

A safari through the grass and trees,
Can bring wonders that make you freeze.
Giraffes so tall, and lions so strong,
You'll see them all before too long.

But some need more than just to roam,
A sanctuary they call their home.
A place to rest, and to be free,
A place where they can just be.

And when it's time to go away,
A migration begins, day by day.
Huge herds of creatures on the move,
Crossing rivers, nothing to prove.

But danger lurks, ivory poachers near,
The reserve will protect and hold them dear.
So they can live and thrive and play,
On the savanna, day by day.
