Forest Rangers: The Brave Protectors

In the forest, with trees so high,
Rangers work to keep things dry.
They gather 'round, a team so strong,
With camaraderie that can't go wrong.

At the briefing, the plan's laid out,
To stop fires that can make one shout.
Competent and brave, they work with care,
To keep the flames from spreading there.

They build a fire line to contain the heat,
And light a fusee to show their feet.
Mesmerizing flames that dance and glow,
Can be brutal, and deadly, they know.

But when an arsonist strikes with flame,
It's their job to stop the game.
They work hard to find entrapment sites,
Where the fire can be put to rights.

It's a tedious job, but they don't mind,
Working hard to keep things kind.
And when the day is done and the job is through,
They can rest easy, knowing they've done it true.

So if you ever go out to the woods,
Remember the rangers, doing what they should.
Working hard to keep the forest green,
And the animals living in a healthy scene.

And if you're ever out there and need to go,
Remember to pack a bladder bag and take it slow.
Because out there, in the woods so vast,
The rangers work hard to keep things lasting, fast!
