The Humble Rebellion: A Tale of Courage and Change

In days of old, so long ago,
The world was full of strife and woe.
Great wars were fought, and kingdoms fell,
And people suffered, it was hell.

The Crusades raged, a holy fight,
To claim the Holy Land was right.
But humble people suffered still,
As those in power had their fill.

The barons taxed the poor and weak,
And many could not even speak.
But rebellion stirred, and hearts were brave,
As people tried to change the grave.

Some tried to nullify the law,
And some took up arms to try and draw,
Their freedom from the tyrant's hold,
And fight for what was right and bold.

Civil war broke out, so fierce and tough,
And some were forced to take an oath.
To fight for what they thought was just,
And stand up to the ruling thrust.

But peace was found, and charters made,
To give the people a fairer trade.
Interdicts ended, successors rose,
And people had a say in how it goes.

So though the past was dark and bleak,
The future brought success we seek.
And we can learn from days of old,
To be humble, brave, and strong and bold.
