Brave Explorers of the Northwest Passage

In the land of snow and ice,
Where the winds are bitter and nice,
Lived a corps of brave explorers,
Guided by an interpreter who was no joker.

Their journey was long and hard,
The terrain was rocky, and the weather scarred,
But they marched on, determined and true,
For they had a mission, and that was to pursue.

They traveled far and wide,
Through mountains high and valleys wide,
Across rivers deep and lakes vast,
Through forests thick and impassable.

But the toughest challenge they faced,
Was the malnutrition they had to chase,
For food was scarce, and hunger was real,
But they persevered, and they did not yield.

They walked in moccasins, light and sound,
For their feet could feel the frozen ground,
And they knew they were close to their goal,
The Northwest Passage, their ultimate soul.

At last, they reached their destination,
And their hearts were filled with elation,
For they had achieved what they had set out to do,
And they had done it all for me and you.
