In a land of ice and snow,
Where ancient glaciers used to flow,
There lived some animals so grand,
But then came changes to the land.

The ice age came and went away,
And creatures learned to live and play,
But now there's something new to fear,
And it's a problem we all must hear.

It's called global warming, oh so real,
And it's caused by things that we can feel,
Like fossil fuels that we burn and use,
And pollutants that we just can't refuse.

But there's hope, you see, for me and you,
If we're careful in all that we do,
We can use geothermal and hydropower,
And cut back on greenhouse gases hour by hour.

And meteorologists can help us know,
What kind of weather we can show,
And if the ice shelf starts to crack,
We can work together to take it back.

So let's all work to keep our planet clean,
And make it a healthy, happy scene,
For all the creatures that call it home,
And for kids like us to safely roam.
