It's a gem, or a kite, that takes to the height.

The rectangle has four sides, so tall and wide,
It's a book, or a door, or a window inside.

The triangle points, up high to the sky,
It's a mountain, or a sail, that catches the eye.

The oval is round, but stretched with glee,
It's an egg, or a face, full of personality.

The heart is the shape, that shows love so true,
It's a symbol, of kindness, for me and for you.

And the star shines bright, like a wish come true,
It's a treasure, of hope, that shines for me and you.

So shapes, oh shapes, let's have some fun,
