A Day in the Classroom: A Collection of School Supplies

Calendar on the wall,
Shows us dates and months,
So we know when it's fall,
And when springtime begins.

Pencil sharpener's by the door,
Always ready for a little more,
With a few twists and turns,
It sharpens up the pencils we learn with.

A paper clip is small and neat,
It holds our papers together,
And makes sure they won't get lost,
It's a helper we can always trust.

The window lets in light,
And lets us see outside,
The sky is blue, the grass is green,
A world of beauty to be seen.

The clock ticks and tocks,
It helps us keep track of time,
With its hands moving round and round,
It reminds us of the tasks that are to be found.

Picture on the wall,
Brings a smile to us all,
Of a memory we hold dear,
And a moment that is always near.

Workbook on the desk,
Is where we write and learn the best,
With pencils, paper and our minds,
We can leave our creative footprints behind.

  9. What would the classroom be like without these supplies?
  10. How do these supplies help us learn and grow as students?
