The Fast and Slow Race

There's a race we all must run,
With our feet or with our fun,
Some go fast, some go slow,
Some go faster, some go slow.

Fastest of them all is the hare,
Running fast without a care,
But the turtle moves slower, you see,
Steady wins the race, just wait and see.

Faster than the wind, a cheetah goes,
With its speed, it surely glows,
But a snail moves slower, that's true,
Taking its time, it sees the view.

Fast is the bird that takes to flight,
Soaring high with all its might,
But a caterpillar moves slower still,
Taking its time, it crawls at will.

Slow is the way an elephant walks,
Steady and strong, it never stalks,
And the slowest of them all is the sloth,
Hanging high, moving slow, that's both!

So remember, fast and slow,
Both have their own way to go,
Some will go faster, some will go slow,
But that's okay, just let them flow!
