Once upon a time in a farmyard so bright,
There lived a bunch of birds with all their might.
First was Chuck the rooster, with feathers so red,
He crowed so loud, it woke the whole bed!
Next was Buck, the brave and strong,
With feathers brown, he strutted along.
He pecked at the ground and searched high and low,
For seeds to eat, and watch over his crew.
Along came a truck, with a loud beep beep,
And all the birds ran to take a peep.
Chuck, Buck, and the rest, all flapped their wings,
As the truck drove by, with the sound it brings.
Cluck, cluck, went the mother hen,
As she gathered her chicks, and counted them again.
She tucked them under her wing, with love so true,
And off to sleep, the little ones cooed.
Pluck, pluck, went the little duck,
As she pulled at the grass, with a gentle tug.
She swam in the pond, and splashed with joy,
And quacked so loud, it echoed like a toy.
Stuck, stuck, was the goose on the fence,
With its foot caught, it couldn't make a bend.
But, with a little help from its friends,
It was free again, to roam and play with them.
Tuck, tuck, went the birds, in for the night,
With full bellies, and ready for a rest so bright.
And, as they drifted off, to a peaceful sleep,
They dreamed of all the adventures, they'll have and keep.
So, this is the story of Chuck, Buck, and the rest,
With feathers and beaks, they put their best.
In the farmyard so bright, where they roam and play,
And live together, every single day!
