Once upon a time, in a land so green
Lived creatures, each with their own routine
A hat-wearing cat, so fancy and bright
Sat on a mat, in the warm sunlight

Along came a bat, with a swift fly by
And the cat said, "Hey there, how do you spy?"
The bat replied, "I'm just on the go
Chasing bugs, and seeing the world you know."

A rat appeared, with a twitch of its nose
And the cat said, "Hello there, what's the pose?"
The rat replied, "Just out for a chat
With friends, before I return to my flat."

So they all sat, on the mat so flat
And chatted away, just like that
About their adventures, and all they'd seen
And they all agreed, it was nice to be green.

So now you know, in this land so grand
Creatures come together, and make a stand
In friendship and fun, that's just the way
In this land so green, each and every day.
