Once upon a time in a forest so green,
There lived a young vine, so bright and so keen.
It grew tall and strong, up the trunk of a pine,
And basked in the sun, as it learned to entwine.
It was happy and proud, for its leaves shone so fine,
A symbol of life in a world that was divine.
But as the vine grew, it began to decline,
Falling from the tree, no longer able to climb.
The vine felt so sad, for it thought it was through,
But then a little voice whispered, "I see you."
It was a voice full of kindness and shine,
And it said, "Don't worry, you'll be just fine."
The voice came from a bird, who lived in the vine,
And it helped the vine see what was truly divine.
It showed the vine that its leaves were a sign,
Of the beauty and strength that come from within.
So the vine stood up tall, and with a smile so bright,
It said, "Thank you bird, for showing me light."
And from that day on, the vine basked in the sun,
And learned that to truly flourish, you must define.
For define means to learn, what makes you truly shine,
And that's what the vine did, as it learned to dine.
On the love and the light that came from within,
And it was truly a sight to see the vine win!
