Feeling the Emotions

COLD, HAPPY, SAD, THIRSTY, HUNGRY, HOT,
All these feelings that we've got.

COLD is when your nose is icy,
And you wish you had a warm and cozy tea.

HAPPY is when you jump with glee,
And a smile on your face, you'll surely see.

SAD is when you feel a little blue,
And you just need a hug from someone who loves you.

THIRSTY is when you need a drink,
To quench your thirst and make you feel in sync.

HUNGRY is when your tummy growls,
And you need some food to fill you up and make you feel whole.

HOT is when the sun is shining bright,
And you just want to play and have a good time, day or night.

So these are the feelings that we have each day,
And it's okay to have them all in their own special way.
