The Magic of Everyday Things

Once upon a time, in a land so bright,
There lived many things, both day and night.
A pen, a pencil, and a ringing bell,
A fork, a fan, and a farm as well.

The pen was for writing, what a delight!
With a pencil, you could draw so bright.
The bell would ring, oh what a sweet sound,
It filled the air, for miles all around.

The fork was for eating, with its sharp prongs,
And the fan was for cooling, all day long.
The farm had cows, horses, and pigs,
And the fish in the pond, with a graceful wiggle, they'd twirl and twigs.

So these were the things, in the land so bright,
Making life so wonderful, both day and night.
And the children who lived there, so full of glee,
Could play with these things, as happy as can be!
