A World of Jobs: Discovering the Special People in Our Lives

A world of people, so many to see,
Each with a job that's special and unique.
Let's meet some folks, just you and me,
And learn what they do, so let's take a peak!

There's the pupil, with books in hand,
Learning and growing, so bright and so grand.
The farmer, with crops and animals too,
Working so hard, to feed me and you.

Next we have the housewife, with tasks so divine,
Cooking and cleaning, making her home shine.
The fireman, so brave, with a heart of gold,
Ready to help, when danger takes hold.

The doctor, so smart, with a gentle touch,
Caring for others, is their life's crutch.
And the pilot, soaring high in the sky,
Bringing us safely, wherever we fly.

We can't forget the policeman, so strong and so brave,
Keeping us safe, so we can be free to play.
The teacher, who shows us the way,
Guiding our minds, each and every day.

And last, but not least, is the postman, so kind,
Delivering letters, one of a kind.

So you see, there's a world of people to meet,
Each with a job that can't be beat.
Let's appreciate all they do,
For each one plays a special role in our world, it's true!
