Read together

Can, Bat, Man, Rat, Fan, Mat, Cat, Hat,
All these words make a rhyming pat.

A can is something we use to hold,
Food and drinks, it keeps them bold.

A bat is something we use to play,
With a ball on a sunny day.

A man is someone we all can see,
Walking down the street so free.

A rat is a tiny creature so small,
It can crawl and climb and scuttle down the hall.

A fan is something that cools us down,
When the heat makes us wear a frown.

A mat is something we use to stand,
On when we are outside and on the sand.

A cat is a furry creature we love,
With its soft purr, it's sent from above.

A hat is something we wear on our head,
To protect us from the sun, it's often red.

So these are the words, we've learned today,
I hope they make you smile and brighten your day!
