A Day of Aches and Pains

Oh, what a day it is today!
My toothache won't go away,
And when I tried to cut some bread,
A cut finger made me shed a tear, instead.

I woke up with a cough so loud,
And spots all over, chicken pox I found.
An insect bite has made me itch,
And now my fever's acting quite the glitch.

The sun was bright, but I got burned,
And now my headache has returned.
My stomach aches and I can't eat,
And my runny nose is quite the treat.

I rubbed my eye and felt some pain,
And now I think I've got something in the brain.
And to top it off, my ear is sore,
I wish I could just rest and be restored.

But even with these aches and pains,
I'll still smile and sing, through sunshine and rains.
For being healthy is the best feeling of all,
And with a little love, I'll bounce right back, tall!
