Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Timmy who loved to play pranks on his friends. One day, Timmy had an idea for his greatest prank yet. He decided to go to the local store and buy a bag of flour.
When he got home, he snuck up to his friend Billy's house and poured the entire bag of flour on Billy's front doorstep. Then, he rang the doorbell and ran away, hiding behind a tree to watch the fun.
Billy opened the door and was immediately surprised by the dry, white powder covering his feet and the ground. He looked around, trying to figure out what had happened, when Timmy jumped out from behind the tree and yelled, "Surprise!"
Billy wasn't laughing, though. In fact, he was terribly upset. "Timmy, what did you do?" he asked. "This is a nuisance! How am I supposed to get into my house now?"
Timmy felt guilty for causing his friend so much trouble. "I'm sorry, Billy," he said. "I didn't mean to be mean. Let me help you clean this up."
Together, they tried to sweep the flour away, but it was no use. The more they swept, the more it spread. Just then, they had a brilliant idea. They got a bucket of water and poured it on the flour, turning it into a gooey, sticky mess.
And that was the end of Timmy's great prank gone wrong. From that day on, he learned that sometimes the best surprises are the ones that don't cause a nuisance.
