Once upon a time, there was a little bear named Buddy. Buddy loved nothing more than to climb to the top of the highest trees and nap in the clouds. One day, as he was climbing a tall tree, he suddenly realized he was getting very sleepy. He had been up so early that morning, because he wanted to make sure he caught the first rays of sunshine.
As he was drifting off to sleep, he heard a strange noise. It sounded like the ticking of a clock! He opened one eye to see what was making the noise and to his surprise, he saw a big old grandfather clock hanging from a branch right in front of him!
Buddy rubbed his eyes and looked again, but the clock was still there. He decided to investigate and started to climb down the tree, but as he got closer to the clock, he noticed something even stranger. The clock had a door! And it was slightly open!
Buddy couldn't resist his curiosity and he peered inside. To his amazement, he saw a little room filled with coffee cups and saucers, clouds of steam rising from the cups, and a cozy little couch made of cloth.
Buddy was so tired from his climb that he couldn't resist the invitation to take a nap on the couch. He snuggled into the soft cloth and closed his eyes. When he awoke, he found himself wearing a coat made of clouds and the strangest clothes he had ever seen! They were made of cloth and were as white as the clouds themselves.
Buddy looked out the window and saw that it was cloudy outside. He grinned, realizing that he was now living in a world made of clouds and coffee! He spent the rest of his days sipping on coffee, napping on clouds, and exploring the strange and wonderful world of the clock.
