Once upon a time, in a small corner of the country, there lived a little corn cob named Corny. Corny was the most curious cob in the whole field and loved to explore new things.
One day, Corny decided to take a journey and see what lay beyond the field. So, he started walking and after some time, he reached a big copper mine. Corny was fascinated by the mine and decided to take a tour.
As he was walking, he noticed that the miners were trying to cover a big hole in the ground with a large piece of copper. Corny asked them what they were doing, and one of the miners replied, "We're trying to contain the hole so no one falls in, but the cover keeps falling in."
Corny was quick to correct them and said, "I can help! I know just the thing." So, Corny started counting the number of miners and realized that they were one short. He then had an idea and said, "Let me take the missing miner's place."
The miners were skeptical, but Corny was determined. He crawled into the hole, and as he was too small, he fit perfectly, filling the gap and keeping the cover in place. The miners were amazed and thanked Corny for his help.
However, Corny was stuck and couldn't get out of the hole. The miners tried to pull him out, but it was no use. Just then, Corny remembered that he had taken a balance course when he was younger and decided to put his skills to the test.
With great effort, Corny managed to balance himself and the cover, and the miners were finally able to pull him out. The cost of the mine's repairs was reduced, and everyone was happy.
From that day on, Corny was known as the "Balancing Cob" and was famous throughout the country. The end.
