Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Max who loved to draw and write. One day, while walking along the river, he stumbled upon a magical pen that could make anything he wrote or drew come to life.
Excited to try out his new pen, Max started writing a story about a mischievous character named Oblique. Oblique was always up to no good, and he loved to play pranks on the other characters in Max's story.
One day, Oblique decided to play a prank on the great typographer, Modern Roman. Modern Roman was known for his beautiful handwriting and his attention to detail when it came to typesetting. Oblique thought it would be funny to mess up Modern Roman's perfectly typeset text.
So, Oblique snuck into Modern Roman's workshop and started changing all the font settings. He made the ligatures disappear, pushed the margins so they were all wonky, and created a bunch of orphans and ragged lines. He even went so far as to change the leading and kerning, making the text look all sorts of wacky.
When Modern Roman saw what Oblique had done, he was not happy. "What have you done to my text, Oblique? This is not how a professional typographer works!" Modern Roman exclaimed.
But Oblique just laughed and said, "I just wanted to show you that sometimes, a little bit of chaos can be fun, too! And who knows, maybe one day, this new font style will be called 'Oblique's Wacky Roman' and it will be all the rage!"
Max couldn't help but giggle as he wrote down the rest of Oblique's mischievous antics. And from that day on, Max never took typesetting too seriously, and always remembered that a little bit of playfulness can bring some creativity and fun to even the most serious of things. The end.
