Once upon a time, there was a clever dog named Divvy. Divvy was always looking for ways to make money and one day, he came up with a brilliant idea. He would start a division of the canine commission and offer his services as a dog director!
The first thing Divvy did was to build a davit on the cover of his doghouse. He then transformed the deck into a draft office, complete with a commander's desk and a duffel bag full of supplies. He even created separate compartments in his doghouse for each of his clients.
Soon, word spread about Divvy's division and he was getting so many clients that he had to take on some assistants. They would help him with his work and even do a bit of deadheading (taking a nap) when things got too busy.
One day, Divvy was hired by a group of cats who wanted him to direct a play for their theater. Divvy was thrilled, he had always wanted to try his hand at theater. He got to work and created an amazing play that was a huge success. The cats were so impressed with Divvy's work that they even gave him a raise!
From that day on, Divvy's division was known as the best dog director in town. He continued to work hard and even opened up a few more offices in other parts of the city. And that's how Divvy the dog became a rich and successful business dog, all thanks to his love of division, commission, davits, deadheading, drafts, directors, dogs, covers, decks, commanders, duffels, and compartments!
