One day, Snickers was sitting on a tree branch and noticed that all the leaves had fallen off the trees, leaving the forest looking rather bare. Snickers thought for a moment and quickly came up with a great idea.

Feeling disappointed, Snickers sat down on a log and started to pout. Just then, a wise old owl flew down and perched next to him.
"What's wrong, little squirrel?" asked the owl.
Snickers explained his idea and how no one seemed to care. The owl listened patiently and then said, "Snickers, sometimes people are too busy to see the beauty right in front of them. But that doesn't mean your idea wasn't helpful. In fact, it was a very clever idea! The wind is coming and it would have blown all the leaves away if you hadn't put them back on the trees."
Snickers smiled and realized that the owl was right. He may not have received the recognition he wanted, but his idea had made a difference in the forest.
From that day on, Snickers learned that being helpful and kind was more important than getting attention for his ideas. And he lived happily ever after, always looking for new ways to help and bring joy to his friends in the sunny forest.
