The next day, they set out to work. Max started mowing the lawn, Lucy filled the seed tray with soil and started planting the seeds, Tom dug big holes with his spade, Lily wheeled around the wheelbarrow, and together they used the garden shears, hose, trowel and rake to shape the beds and give the plants a good drink.

However, things didn't go exactly as planned. Max mowed a little too close to the flowers, sending petals flying. Lucy dropped the seed tray and all the seeds got mixed up, resulting in a bed of colorful chaos. Tom's spade broke mid-dig and he had to use the garden shears to dig the holes. Lily's wheelbarrow got stuck in a rut, and when she tried to free it, she ended up spilling the soil all over. And when they tried to water the plants with the hose, it got tangled up in the bushes, sending water spraying in every direction!

Despite the setbacks, the friends didn't give up. They laughed at their mishaps and continued to work together. And in no time, their garden was in full bloom, with a variety of fruits and vegetables growing tall and strong. The friends were proud of their hard work and enjoyed a delicious feast of their homegrown treats.

From that day on, Max, Lucy, Tom and Lily were known as the "Gardening Wizards" and their community garden was the most beautiful and productive in the village. And they all lived happily ever after!
