The Worm and the Flower: A Winter Adventure

Once upon a time, there was a tiny worm who lived in the soil beneath a big tree. One day, the worm saw all the leaves on the tree start to fall and knew it was time to find a warm place to sleep for the winter. Suddenly, he saw a small plant with a beautiful flower and crawled inside of it. To his surprise, a bird flying overhead saw the worm and thought it would make a great snack. The bird swooped down and tried to grab the worm, but the flower closed tight, protecting the worm. The bird tried again and again, but the flower always closed just in time. Finally, the bird gave up and flew away. The worm was safe and warm inside the flower all winter long until spring came and the flower opened again. The worm crawled out, happy to see all the new leaves on the tree and the sun shining. He knew he would never forget his adventure with the flower and the bird.
