The Race of the Days: A Fun Tale for Kids

Once upon a time, there lived 7 days of the week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They all lived together in a big house called Calendar.
One day they decided to have a race to see who could be the first day to reach the end of the week. Monday started first followed by Tuesday and so on.
On Thursday, he tripped and fell but quickly got up and continued running. Friday was having a bad day and kept tripping over his own feet. Wednesday and Saturday were having a great time, laughing and talking to each other.
By the time Sunday arrived, everyone was exhausted except for Sunday who was still fresh and energetic. Sunday crossed the finish line first and declared that from now on, he would always be the first day of the week. The rest of the days couldn't stop laughing and agreed to let Sunday be the leader.
And that's how Sunday became the first day of the week!
