Once upon a time, there was a grandparent who loved to bake yummy treats with their grandchild. One day, they decided to bake a delicious cake together. While they were waiting for the cake to finish baking, the grandparent suggested they play some music on the piano. The grandchild eagerly agreed and sat down at the piano.
As they were playing, the grandparent noticed that the cake was starting to smoke. They quickly took it out of the oven and let it cool. After a few minutes, they sat down to enjoy a slice of cake and watch a movie together.
As they were eating, the grandparent suddenly realized that they had forgotten to add sugar to the cake. It was so bitter, the grandchild wouldn't even take a bite! But the grandparent had an idea. They suggested they share the cake with their neighbors and call it a "bitter cake party."
The grandchild thought this was a great idea, so they ran to invite all their neighbors over. When everyone arrived, the grandparent explained that they had accidentally made a bitter cake and asked if everyone wanted to try a piece and share their thoughts. To everyone's surprise, the bitter cake was actually quite delicious!
From that day on, the grandparent and grandchild would bake bitter cakes every week and have a "bitter cake party" with all their friends and neighbors. They all had lots of fun, sharing food and music and laughter. And that's how the grandparent and grandchild learned that sometimes, things are sweeter when you share them together.
