Once upon a time there was a small flower named Petal. Petal lived in the soil with other plants and roots. One day, Petal heard that it was going to rain. Petal got very excited because it had never seen rain before.
When the rain came, Petal loved it! The rain made the soil soft and cozy. But then Petal noticed something strange. All of the other plants and roots were bending over, trying to get away from the rain. Petal didn't understand why.
Petal asked a seed what was going on. The seed said, "The rain is too heavy for us, it might make us fall over." Petal laughed and said, "But how can you fall over? You have roots that keep you in place!"
So Petal danced in the rain, enjoying every moment. The other plants and roots watched in awe as Petal twirled and spun in the rain. Petal proved that even though it was small, it could still stand tall and enjoy the rain.
