Once upon a time, Earth was feeling quite warm. All the liquid on Earth started to evaporate and turn into gas. The gas floated up into the sky and formed into clouds. The clouds were so full of gas that they started to freeze. They turned into solid ice clouds and were no longer invisible.

One day, the sun came out and shone down on the cloud, causing it to melt. The liquid dripped down from the cloud and fell back to Earth as rain. The rain hit the ground and turned back into liquid. And that's how the cycle of evaporation, freezing, melting, and rain keeps going on Earth!
