Once upon a time, there was a little deer named Bambi. Bambi lived in the forest with all his animal friends. One day, he heard a strange noise. It sounded like someone was saying "dam, dam, dam." Bambi asked his friend Thumper what it was and Thumper said, "It's probably just the beaver who lives down by the river." So Bambi decided to go and see for himself.

When he got to the river, he saw a big beaver with a dam that was blocking the water. Bambi asked the beaver, "Why are you blocking the water?" The beaver replied, "I need to keep the water from flooding my home." Bambi thought for a moment and then said, "But what about all the other animals who live here? They need the water too!"

The beaver thought about it and then said, "I guess you're right. I'll just make a little hole in the dam so the water can flow through." Bambi smiled and said, "Thank you! That's very kind of you." The beaver made a little hole in the dam and the water started to flow through.

Bambi was so happy, he started to dance on his hooves. The beaver looked at Bambi's antlers and said, "Wow! You have such beautiful antlers! Can I borrow them for a minute?" Bambi said, "Sure!" The beaver put on Bambi's antlers and started to dance too. They danced and laughed for hours, until it was time for Bambi to go back to the forest.

Bambi said goodbye to the beaver and thanked him for being such a good friend. The beaver said, "You're welcome! And remember, we can always have a dance party whenever you want!" Bambi smiled and ran back to the forest. From that day on, Bambi and the beaver were the best of friends and they always had lots of fun together.
