The Monument That Became President

Once upon a time, there was a museum on the National Mall in Washington D.C. that honored all the Presidents of the United States. One day, the Washington Monument decided it wasn't getting enough attention compared to all the other monuments. So, it came up with a plan to make itself the most famous monument of all!

It started by standing on its head, but nobody noticed. Then it tried juggling rocks, but still no one paid attention. Frustrated, the Washington Monument decided to run for President.

The other monuments laughed and said, "You can't run for President, you're just a monument!" But the Washington Monument was determined and ran anyway.

To everyone's surprise, the Washington Monument won the election! It was the first monument ever to be elected as President. The other monuments were so impressed they gave it a ticker-tape parade down the National Mall.

And so, the Washington Monument became the most famous monument of all and was remembered forever as the only monument to ever serve as President of the United States!
