The Pigment of Peace

Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there was a strait that separated two villages. The people of one village were afraid of the other village because they believed they had supernatural powers. They were convinced that the other village's shaman had the power to cause extinction of their own village.

One day, the people of the first village decided to confiscate all the pigment from the other village, believing that it was the source of the shaman's power. They sent a group of warriors to the other village, where they found a longhouse filled with jars of pigment.

The warriors triumphantly returned to their village with the pigment, but to their surprise, nothing changed. The other village still had its supernatural powers and the shaman was still feared by the people of the first village.

Feeling ashamed of their actions, the people of the first village returned the pigment to the other village and apologized for their mistake. From that day on, the two villages lived in peace and harmony. The shaman, who had always been kind and peaceful, taught the people of the first village about the true power of the pigment and how it was used for beautiful art and not for harm.

The end.
