The humans were so surprised by this strange, jiggly monster gobbling up their food that they ran away!

But the glob didn't mind. He ate and ate until he was completely satisfied. Then he realized that if he used his gooey body to shape himself into a spoon or fork, he could eat even more food! And that's exactly what he did. From that day on, the glob became a regular at all the human feasts, using his jiggly body to eat all the food he wanted.
