Once upon a time, there was a smaller Earth who lived in the sky. One day, the Earth met the moon and they became fast friends. The moon told Earth about how it changed every night from a new moon to a half moon and finally to a full moon. The Earth was fascinated and asked the moon how it did it. "I just know," replied the moon with a twinkle in its eye. Only after several nights of observing did the Earth figure out the secret. The moon was getting bigger and smaller as it orbited the Earth! But one day, the moon disappeared! The Earth was worried and searched high and low but couldn't find its friend. Suddenly, the moon reappeared, now even bigger than before. It turned out that the moon had gone on an adventure to make itself bigger so it could shine brighter for Earth. From then on, the Earth and moon would always be best friends, shining bright together every night.
