Read together
Once upon a time, there was a little pig named Porky who loved to gobble up his porridge every morning. One day, as Porky sat down for breakfast, he heard a knock on the door. He groaned and whined, "Who could that be?" But he got up to answer it. When Porky opened the door, he found a grumpy old wolf who wanted some of his porridge. Porky said, "Sorry, I have just enough for myself." The wolf whined and groaned, but Porky stood firm. Suddenly, the wolf had an idea! He asked Porky if he wanted to play a game of knock-knock. Porky agreed and they played the game until the wolf had to return home. From then on, whenever the wolf came to visit, they would play knock-knock and enjoy their porridge together. And Porky never had to worry about sharing his breakfast again!

- Why was Porky groaning and whining when he heard a knock on the door?
- What did the wolf want when he came to visit Porky?
- How did Porky and the wolf solve the problem of not having enough porridge for both of them?
- What did Porky and the wolf start to do every time the wolf came over?
- What can we learn from the story about friendship?
