The Tempting Pomegranate and the Barren Goddess

Once upon a time, there was a barren goddess named Pom who wanted to have a child more than anything. One day, she was approached by the god of fate who offered to give her a child if she could resist eating a magical pomegranate.

Pom eagerly agreed and was given the fruit to hold onto for safekeeping. However, the temptation was too strong and she couldn't resist taking a bite.

The moment she did, she was plunged into a deep sleep and awoke as a mortal woman with a baby in her arms. She was overjoyed at first, but soon began to grieve for her former life as a goddess.

One day, while out on a walk with her chariot, she was approached by the god of fate once again. He told her that her child was capable of returning her to her former life as a goddess, but only if she didn't eat any more pomegranates.

Pom promised to resist the temptation and instead focused all her love and attention on her child. As the child grew, so did its powers, and eventually, it was able to return Pom to her former life as a goddess.

From that day forward, Pom never forgot the lesson she learned about temptation and the power of a mother's love. And every year, she celebrated with a grand feast of pomegranates, but this time she ate them with moderation. The end.
