Once upon a time, there was a mischievous squirrel who loved to cause trouble. One day, he decided to play a trick on the other animals in the forest. He took all their nuts and hid them in a bare tree trunk.

When the animals realized what had happened, they were very upset. They tried to respond to the squirrel, but he just laughed and said, "I did it for revenge." The tension in the forest rose as the animals tried to manage the consequence of their missing nuts.

The squirrel continued to act in vain, thinking he was getting away with his mischievous behavior. But one day, a bear came along and saw what the squirrel had done. The bear was not amused and decided to teach the squirrel a lesson.

The bear told him, "This is what happens when you play tricks on others. You must always be considerate of the consequences of your actions."

The squirrel learned his lesson and from then on, he was much more careful about how he treated his friends in the forest. And everyone lived happily ever after, including the squirrel who was no longer vain and mischievous.
