The Clever settler and the celebration feast

Once upon a time, there was a scrawny settler named Billy who lived in the time of the American Revolution. He was very curious and always wanted to impress others with his bravery and wit. One day, he heard that the settlers were going to celebrate the end of the war by having a big feast in the clearing.

Billy decided he wanted to do something special to impress everyone, so he came up with a plan. He built a huge fire in the clearing and began to cook a giant feast for all the settlers. But as he was cooking, he realized he forgot to bring any utensils to serve the food.

Just then, a group of Native Americans appeared and offered to help. They brought bowls and spoons made of wood, and helped Billy serve the feast. Everyone was so impressed that they gave Billy lots of respect, and he felt proud of himself for impressing everyone and making peace with the Native Americans.

From then on, Billy was known as the “Clever Settler” and every year, the settlers and Native Americans would gather in the clearing to celebrate their friendship and the end of the American Revolution.
