Once upon a time, there lived a manioc plant in the heart of a tropical rainforest near the equator. One day, the manioc plant heard a symphony of beautiful music coming from the terrace of a nearby tree. The manioc was curious and decided to investigate. Climbing on its stilts, the manioc made its way to the terrace. There, it found a group of musicians playing instruments out of plantain leaves! Just as the manioc was about to join in, it was attacked by a swarm of mosquitoes. The manioc quickly realized that it had forgotten to bring insect repellent. In a panic, the manioc started to run, but it couldn't run fast enough on its stilts. Suddenly, an idea struck the manioc. It started to play its own music- tapping its stilts like drumsticks and shaking its leaves like maracas. The mosquitoes were so confused that they flew away! The manioc joined the symphony and played its heart out. From that day on, the manioc became known as the best percussionist in the rainforest. And it never forgot to bring insect repellent again!
