Editor Max's Misadventure

Once upon a time, there was a young editor named Max who worked at a newspaper. One day, while editing an article, he noticed that the copy was missing some important evidence. He asked his contributor, Sarah, to gather more information. Sarah went to the photographer, Tom, for help. Tom had taken pictures of the event and had the evidence they needed.

When Sarah returned with the evidence, Max was so happy that he wrote a headline for the article that read "Photographer Tom Solves the Mystery!" He then added Tom's name to the masthead, which listed all the contributors to the newspaper.

As Max was finishing up the article, he realized that he had assumed something important that wasn't in the evidence. He quickly changed the headline to "Editor Max Makes a Foolish Assumption!" And added a column apologizing for his mistake.

All the kids who read the newspaper laughed at Max's silly mistake. From then on, Max always double-checked his assumptions before writing any headlines. The end.
