Once upon a time in a desert, a cactus named Spike was feeling lonely. He wanted to make new friends but every time he tried, the predators would chase them away. One day, an idea sprouted in his mind- why not have a party? So, he invited all the plants in the desert to come and celebrate.

The guests started to arrive and they were amazed at Spike's hospitality. The flowers bloomed and pollinated, the seeds germinated and the air was filled with the sweet smell of transpiration. Suddenly, a group of Javelinas appeared and threatened to ruin the party!

Spike quickly came up with a plan- he started to decomposed and released a bad smell that made the Javelinas run away as far as possible! The party continued and the plants all had a great time. Spike realized how important it is to evolve and change to survive and be happy. The end.
