Ahmed and the Slum Fire

Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there was a young refugee named Ahmed. Ahmed had fled his home country with his family due to war and violence, and they had settled in a big city. However, life was not easy for Ahmed and his family in the city. They lived in a slum, a poor and overcrowded area, where the houses were made of mud and had thatched roofs.

One day, while Ahmed was playing with his friends in the stockyard, he noticed smoke rising from one of the houses in the slum. He immediately ran to tell the others, and together they formed a bucket brigade to try and put out the fire. But the fire was too big, and it quickly spread to other houses.

The city's fire department was lax and slow to respond, so Ahmed and his friends had to think fast. One of them remembered seeing a fire hook, a long pole with a hook on the end, in a nearby alley. They quickly grabbed the fire hook and used it to pull down the thatched roofs of the houses, creating a firebreak that stopped the fire from spreading further.

Thanks to Ahmed and his friends' quick thinking, they were able to save many houses and prevent the fire from becoming a disaster. The city's fire department finally arrived and put out the remaining flames.

Ahmed and his friends were hailed as heroes, and the slum community was forever grateful to them. Ahmed realized that even though he was a refugee, he could still make a difference and help others in his new home.

The end.
