The Consequences of Gossip: A Lesson Learned by Mischievous Friends

Once upon a time, in a small village lived a group of mischievous friends. They loved to gossip, spread rumors and make assumptions about others. One day they heard a rumor that the principal was going to expel one of their classmates for misbehaving. They assumed it was true and started to sulk. But little did they know, the consequence of their actions was going to be much more than what they expected. The next day, when they went to school, they were all called to the principal’s office. To their surprise, the principal told them that because of their spreading of rumors and assumptions, they were all going to get expelled. The friends learned a valuable lesson that day, that gossiping, spreading rumors and making assumptions can have serious consequences. From then on, they made sure to only spread kind words and be more thoughtful before speaking.
